How small-group language courses support steady progress
Small-group language courses are designed for learners who want steady progress without getting lost in a large class. With a capped group size, each participant has room to speak, ask questions, and practise new language in a supportive setting.
At Linguist Haven, courses can suit adult beginners, continuing learners, and friends or community groups who want to study together. Our term-based format includes two lessons per week over ten weeks, with initial level screening before enrolment so the group and timetable can be matched appropriately.
Small groups keep practice active and feedback specific.
A clear structure, regular speaking time, and guided review help learners stay engaged throughout the term.
The learning process combines scheduled group lessons, guided peer practice, and periodic progress summaries. This helps learners see what they have mastered, what needs more practice, and how to prepare for the next lesson. Progress depends on starting level, attendance, independent practice, learning needs, and course duration.
Available formats include beginner courses, elementary and intermediate courses, conversation workshops, intensive courses, and private group courses. Lessons are offered in Riquewihr and online, making it easier to fit study around work, family, or other commitments.
